Delft Software Days supporting the international community
Since 2011, the international Delft Software Days (DSD-INT) yearly welcome 500 – 1.000 participants from 200+ organizations from 50+ nationalities in Delft, The Netherlands.
These annual in-person events provide a venue for both users and developers of Delft software products, tools and data & knowledge management systems. It facilitates innovative and sustainable solutions to global issues concerning the use and risks of water and the subsurface and it gives an excellent opportunity to present new scientific insights into modelling, recent advances in data & knowledge management, latest open software developments and key enabling technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud computing, high performance computing and sensoring (earth observation, measurement and monitoring).
The DSD-INT also offer webinars, online workshops and online courses via our Deltares Academy eLearning platform to further support the software & data community.
Regional editions In addition to the DSD-INT, regional editions are being organized to provide an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas for our software communities on a regional scale, such as the DSD-NL (Netherlands and Belgium), DSD-SEA (South-East Asia), DSD-USA, DKD-ME (Deltares Knowledge Days - Middle East) and DWKD (Dhaka Water Knowledge Days).
Open Source Software communities The community using Deltares open source software (https://oss.deltares.nl/) currently has over 30.000 members worldwide and continues to grow rapidly.
