Description

Interested in data-model interaction? Want to know more about the use of big data in scientific applications within the water domain? Interested in machine learning methods? Or perhaps in data visualization? Join the Data Science Symposium! Deltares will be hosting a number of interactive lectures and presentations on the following topics:

  • Data Integration
  • Remote Sensing
  • Digital Twins
  • Visualization
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Computer vision

Deltares speakers will show the latest advancements in Data Science carried out within the Institute. External speakers will enrich the program with their experience and applications. Given the overall interest in the topic of disaster risk management, this year we will also reserve 40 minutes for a special session in the afternoon, about Disaster Risk Management and Big Data. At that moment we would like to have the most interaction with the participants. During breaks and at the informal drinks at the end of the day there will be plenty of opportunities to meet and talk with the other participants, including Deltares experts.
