In this hands-on workshop, a break-out session of the Delft3D User Days, we will jointly build a 2D run-off model for urban areas with the Delft3D FM Suite. Step by step, we will show how you can setup a digital terrain model, roughness grid and infiltration grid, using open data. Then we will merge the files into a Delft3D FM model, perform a model simulation and analyze the results.

In addition to this, we will showcase detailed 1D2D urban modelling and the Adaptation Support Tool to support you in implementing of adaptation measures: make your own environment more resilient to the hazards of extreme weather using measures such as urban forest, green roofs with drainage delay, smart irrigation measures and/or drought resistant species.
