We start our Delft3D Australian User Days upstream, with Day 1 focussing on the modelling of fresh water systems, all the way to their impact at the coast. We will see examples presented of Delft3D and SOBEK models of lake turnover, real-time hydrologic forecasting, as well as how these land-based discharges influence coastal waters.
For your convenience, this webinar will take place:
16:00 – 18:00 (AEDT)
15:00 – 17:00 (AEST)
13:00 – 15:00 (AWST)
06:00 - 08:00 (CET, Delft time)
Keynote: “Quantification of the impact of land-based discharges on seagrasses habitat suitability in the Adelaide coastal waters using Delft3D” by Jos van Gils (Deltares) and Milena Fernandez (South Australian Water Corporation)
“Real Time Hydrologic, Hydraulic and Water Quality Forecasting in the Bowen Basin” by Tony McAlister (WaterTech)
“Using Delft3D to model mechanical and tidal turnover rates in Coastal Urban Lakes” by Chris Walker (Covey Associates)
“Lake Turnover Assessments using Delft3D and SOBEK" by Cara van Megchelen (Cardno) & Rob Swan (Cardno)
